SVG

I recently downloaded a Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) editor onto my computer. It is called Inkscape, and it works very well for making SVGs. SVGs are infinitely scalable, so an image can be created at 8.5x11 size and enlarged to billboard size without any loss of quality.
Click on the title to go to the Inkscape site.

Sciin

Othneliarex is making me...well, making me isn't quite the right word...well, for lack of a better word, Othneliarex is making me do the Sciin articles that I completely spaced out on during the whole week. On the other hand, I haven't had much time to work on the article, so that may have contributed to the problem. You can see the Sciin Google group by clicking on the title of this post.

Yesterday it got to 89.8 degrees Fahrenheit at my house. That is probably the hottest it has ever been here. Wow.

I have to work on my article now, so goodbye. P.S. have a nice day!

Dinopics

As you can see below, photoshop is not the ideal medium for dinosaur drawings, although these turned out pretty good. However, my chosen drawing medium is pencil and paper.

Dinosaur pictures by me

A miscellaneous Camarasaur:

A miscellaneous Oviraptorid:

A Ceratosaurus:

And a miscellaneous Allosaur:

Not in the future

Othneliarex is not in the future. He is in the same time as us. But he is referring to the time-zone phenomenon, which is experienced by tourists, traveling businesspeople and...well...anyone else who does not fit into that category. The reason for this is: if it was the same time everywhere on earth, then...well...say it is 9:00am in this imaginary world. And let's imagine that it is light in Sri Lanka. In New York, on the side of the earth that is in shadow, it is dark. And still 9:00am. That is the basic theory behind time zones. Which is why Othneliarex's clock shows what...5:30? and my clock shows 4:30. Or would have, if this was all happening at that time, but it is actually 2:37 here.

Othneliarex is in New Mexico!

He said in a recent e-mail
" Hello Utahraptor Ostrommaysorum. This is Othnielia Rex Gmailing you from the future. When this email was sent in the time i am in, it is 6:33 PM. When this Gmail will get to you, it will be about 5:33 PM! How is this possible. (Hint: we are still on the same day, and i did not use a time machine.) Anyway, i am in Ghost Ranch. i am sitting in front of the main building, one of the only places with internet, on my dads laptop. I went to the Ruth Hall museum of paleontology today, and i saw Coelophysis, some crocidile like thing, an amphibian, and something that looked like a Hypislophodont. So ...... OH NO! DEINONYCHUS! RIP! bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... ....Goodbye........"
Can you guess the answer to the question?
Post a comment if you can.

Dilong paradoxus

Dilong paradoxus was an early tyrannosaur from the Liaoning province of china. It was the first feathered tyrannosaur to be found and is one of the most primitive, suggesting that Tyrannosaurus rex itself may have had some feathers, but a full body covering would be unlikely because Tyrannosaurus probably could stay warm with its massive bulk. However, baby Tyrannosaurus might have had a downy covering much like that of a duckling's to keep warm. Dilong paradoxus probably hunted the local hadrosaur, Jinzhousaurus. Dilong would have had many competitors for food, including the tiny dromaeosaur Microraptor and the deadly troodont Sinovenator (below).
