Biomimetic (Buy-Oh-Mih-Met-Ic) airplane 0803.18

Today as I was about to do some running an idea came to me: a mobile mechanical alula (a feather on a bird's wing for aerodynamic purposes). It would use an inflatable tube to extend and retract. Later, as I was writing this idea down, I thought I could use a piezoelectric actuator instead of an inflatable tube. This would take up less space and use less energy.

After a few minutes, I thought of a mechanical bird wing that was made up of a main spar with artificial alula embedded and artificial "feathers" surrounding it. the feathers would also be moved by piezoelectric actuators.

To be continued...(I have a painful plastic cut [like a paper cut])
